The Farm Society™ is a Norwegian producer specialising in vertical farming and indoor food production. Our farm is located at the top of Nyhavna in Trondheim. We grow leafy greens and herbs indoors using soil-free cultivation systems, in fully controlled environments – all year round.
Vertical Farming
Our farm operates a vertical growing system developed in-house. Growing in height allows us to produce large volumes of fresh produce within a small physical footprint. Vertical farming is particularly well suited for food production in urban and urban areas where food is not traditionally grown. This contributes to increased self-sufficiency and a higher share of domestically produced food. We produce crops that replace imports, thereby reducing transport needs and supporting more environmentally responsible food production.
